We are proud to announce the release of the LFG-Armory

What is it?
It's a new site designed to enhance your Armory-browsing. It offers nearly complete functionality to check out your:
  • Characters
  • Guilds
  • Arena Teams
What is special about it?
Next to the usual browsing, it offers a unique system which will find you a new guild, arena team or a player for either one.

It works as following:
  • You register an account and login
  • Add your characters to the system
  • Choose requirements for new guild, team or player, like for example
    • minimum HP or MP,
    • minimum team rating
    • has certain classes in guild or team
    • etc
  • Start looking for!
The system will automatically find any suitable matches if there are any and you will be presented an overview. You can now give your (dis)approval to any match and perhaps meet your new mate online afterwards .

Interested?
Drop by at the LFG-Armory

# You register an account and login
# Add your characters to the system

that part sounds rather fishy. Just to point out to people who use the same password/username for everything. Don't use your wow account/password to sign up for anything like this.

Visited the site though and seems to be legit.

Obviously, you should never ever enter your wow account information anywhere except in wow..
It is to link characters to an account, to be able to receive our newsletter and to visit the forums which are coming soon

Nice site, would like it a lot more if I was actually looking for a team though...

One thing. I don't know if its my computer or the website, but the tooltips (for gear) seem to be no more than 100px wide. This stretches it WAY beyond the screen, and makes it very hard for me to read. Intended?

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback and no it's not intented it's an issue i've been trying to resolve so that it works cross-browser. Personally i use firefox and IE7 while developing, seems to be working there. I have made some changes now, please let me know if it has any effect

Site looks good however I have one bug. When you mouse over an item it switches weather it goes above or below the mouse based on the available screen space, however when it decides that there is enough space above the mouse, it goes under the title bar/tab bar/etc...

The same problem happens occasionally with the bottom bar, but as soon as you move the mouse again it seems to correct itself.

I noticed these bugs looking at the character Damienn on us server Ravencrest. The bug at the top was noticed looking at his helm and the more minor bug at the bottom looking at his trinket.

I'm using the most updated release version of firefox.

I'm aware of this issue, been trying to resolve it. Unfortunately it will probably require me to find a completely different tooltip script or write my own one. Im using Dynamic Drive DHTML tooltip atm and i'm not to happy with it at times, however i cant find another decent lightweight script. If u know one, lemme know

Edit:

As far as i can tell i have resolved the tooltip-jumping issue. Let me know if it isn't. I will now look into the crazy width issue when using FF3 beta.

Regarding the firefox 3 beta tooltip issue, i've look into the matter, have made some changes, but no luck. For some reason, it seems the interpretation of the beta version of some CSS styling differs from that of 2.0 and IE. I'll try to resolve the issue, otherwhise wait for final version of 3.0, see if it still remains and if so, find a proper solution.
